Cell Culture Specialist

As a Cell Culture Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing upstream process development, process scale-up, and process characterization for monoclonal antibody manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in one of the following areas:

  • Omics technologies such as Metabolomics or Metabolic Flux Analysis
  • Bioprocess modeling, including Metabolic Modeling, Process Modeling, or Digital Twin for bioreactor or cells
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to simulate bioreactor mixing

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and establishing scalable and robust processes for meeting desired product yield and quality
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams within R&D and other departments for technical discussions related to process development, technology transfer, and process improvement
  • Participating in technology transfer activities, coordinating with program management and cross-functional teams to deliver on program timelines
  • Ensuring thorough data analysis for assessing upstream data and supporting technical decisions
  • Recording and reviewing raw data in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

Additional Requirements include:

  • Recent PhD graduates only
  • Strong scientific awareness of latest advancements in science and technology, bioprocessing
  • Statistical knowledge of Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiments (DOE) concepts in upstream development
