Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to lead the development of low-level firmware for audio codec solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Audio Codec development and Rust programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Firmware Development: Design and develop firmware modules for audio codec drivers (encode/decode, signal processing, streaming) using Rust programming language.
  • Audio Data Paths: Work on audio data paths, DSP integration, and codec algorithms to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Device Drivers and HAL: Develop and maintain device drivers, Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), and board support packages.
  • Testing and Debugging: Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing for audio firmware components, and debug issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Collaboration and Code Reviews: Collaborate with hardware, DSP, and system teams to integrate codecs into target platforms, and contribute to architecture design, code reviews, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Audio Codec development and Rust programming.
  • Experience with firmware development, audio data paths, and DSP integration.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Knowledge of multimedia and embedded standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
