Senior Field Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our field operations, overseeing Program Associates and maintaining strong farmer relationships. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing people and farmer relationships, as well as a passion for animal welfare.
Main Responsibilities- People management: Manage 3+ Program Associates to ensure effective team performance.
- Project management: Supervise the implementation of Alliance for Responsible Aquaculture (ARA) protocols and experiments, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
- Data review: Ensure timely and accurate data entry by Program Associates, maintaining data integrity and reliability.
- Audits: Conduct regular audits and quality control to ensure adherence to protocols, identifying areas for improvement.
- Nationality: Right to work in India required.
- Experience with field programs: 1 year of experience managing field programs in development, environmental protection, or animal advocacy sectors.
- Language: Fluent in oral and written Telugu and English essential.
- Location: Full-time presence in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh required, with extensive field work in surrounding villages.
- Transportation: Ability to drive a motorbike or scooter on rural roads necessary.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or greater in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Social Sciences, or other sciences preferred.
- Technical expertise: Previous experience with water quality analysis and management in aquaculture beneficial.
