Estimator Position

We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about the broadband, telecom, and outside plant industry.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of industry requirements for all outside plant engineering and construction needs and possess the expertise to properly price projects accordingly.

This role involves reviewing customer provided Request for Proposals (RFPs) documents to gain a full understanding including but not limited to project scope, RFP response requirements, project specifications, project schedule, and customer objectives.

The successful candidate will develop comprehensive estimate and bid preparation templates specifically tailored to each RFP project.

They will utilize expert-level proficiency in Excel to build cost breakdowns, high level schedules, risk registers, preliminary resource plans, and populate customer bid pricing forms pricing sheets for RFP submittals client submissions.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather necessary project information and ensure accurate estimates.

The candidate will conduct thorough analysis and research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.

They must communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to present estimates, address inquiries, and provide recommendations as needed.

The selected individual will stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve estimating processes and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
