Job Description

We are seeking a Business Risk Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing the first line of defense for our Private Bank.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical individual with expertise in operational risk management and a passion for shaping the future of finance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks within our Private Bank, as well as designing, implementing, and testing controls.

They will also develop and test key procedures, create and review key risk indicators, and register risk events, managing and delivering risk incident reports.

  • Develop sustainable growth strategies that align with operational risk frameworks.
  • Implement effective risk management procedures to ensure the business remains on safe footing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor front-line performance.

Our ideal candidate will have a 2:1 degree from a top university, 6+ years of experience in operational risk management in financial services, and expertise in private banking or wealth management.

They will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to quickly assume responsibilities, and demonstrate an organized and methodical approach to their work.
