The Technical Team Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our product and guiding a team of engineers to develop scalable systems, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.

  • Lead and Mentor Developers: Manage and guide a team of software engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality deliverables.
  • Code Ownership: Take responsibility for the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase.
  • PR Reviews & Feedback: Conduct pull request reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards.
  • Systems Thinking: Design new features, considering scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
  • Team Support: Actively support team members in resolving development challenges and unblock them when needed.
  • Code Auditing: Audit the existing codebase, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Technical Documentation: Ensure creation and maintenance of clear, comprehensive technical documentation for both existing and new features.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack, proficiency with AWS cloud services, and a proven track record of leading/managing a team of developers. A strong background in code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring code quality is essential.
