We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database administration, security, and performance tuning.
- Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain robust database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, ensuring business continuity and minimizing data loss.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in database concepts and administration.
- Familiarity with Oracle database architecture, including datafiles, control files, redo logs, and undo management.
- Understanding of database security best practices, including access control, encryption, and auditing.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
