The Role of Body Systems Function Owner

  • Define, develop, and manage the electrical and electronic architecture of vehicle body systems.
  • Take full accountability for the design, development, integration, validation, and performance of body-related vehicle features.

This includes defining and managing system and subsystem requirements (functional and non-functional). Collaborate with stakeholders through system "V" development from concept to launch with design reviews and CFT.

A strong analytical background in model-based design, MBSE/MBD simulation toolsets, MIL/SIL/HIL is required. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Codebeamer, Preevision, CAMEO, Github, JFROG etc., as well as A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS communication protocols and Vehicle Network tools.

This role requires a team player who can work closely with hardware, applications team, and core CFTs. The ideal candidate will have rich experience across closures, interiors, safety, and other related functions.

Masters degree in EE/Mechanical/Mechatronics/EE/SW Engineering required.
