About Our Mission

As cities grow and people spend more time indoors and online, meaningful connections are becoming increasingly scarce. We want to change this by building a platform that encourages young Indians to reconnect offline: through book clubs, debates, startup brainstorming, volunteering, running, playing games, or simply finding genuine community.

The format will evolve, but our mission is clear: help young Indians reconnect with each other meaningfully, offline.

Your Role:

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Operations Head, you'll lead the financial strategy, fundraising, and operational growth of our platform. You'll ensure we have the resources and systems needed to scale sustainably from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Fundraising
    • Develop and manage financial models, including unit economics, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
    • Lead fundraising efforts, preparing investor materials and pitch decks, and managing financial modeling and investor relations.
    • Build robust financial systems, including accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, and CAC/LTV analysis.
    • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Marketplace Operations
    • Design and execute a marketplace operations playbook.
    • Develop operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
    • Balance marketplace liquidity, ensuring enough hosts and events meet attendee demand.
    • Build trust and safety operations, including dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Scaling and Partnerships
    • Oversee legal and compliance frameworks, including contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), corporate structure, and MCA compliance.
    • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
    • Develop key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards for event volume, ticket sales, host retention, and repeat attendance.
    • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is a plus.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
  • A passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.

Compensation Details:

  • Up to ~10 LPA salary.
  • Up to 10% equity, vested over 3 years.
