Senior IT Auditor Job Description
  • Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior IT Auditor to lead our IT audit team and perform high-quality audits. As a Senior IT Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting control design and operating effectiveness tests, ensuring the work delivered is high quality, and managing a portfolio of engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership Role: Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates/Analysts in managing a portfolio of engagements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the work delivered is high quality through spot checks, periodic reviews, and quality review/assurance processes.
  • Client Management: Act as the firm representative for key accounts or functional areas and strive to ensure effective integration of high-quality services to clients within clients and firm strategy.
  • Employee Development: Develop plans for employees to gain necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform their duties.
  • Business Development: Proactively engage with stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement new work areas and enable growth of existing client work, in alignment with the firm's growth strategy.
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrate industry expertise (detailed understanding of the industry, trends, issues/challenges, and leading practices).
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports/deliverables/status updates/audit committee presentations, etc.
  • Relationship Building: Actively establish & strengthen client (functional heads & key influencers) and internal relationships.
  • Talent Acquisition: Support talent acquisition by participating in or leading university/entry-level and/or experienced recruiting; building a talent pipeline, conducting interviews; and seeking and providing referrals.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge in IT General Controls testing (ITGC), SOC audits, information technology architecture, Operating Systems, ERPs, databases, SSAE 18/SOC 1 testing, and reporting - for IT as well as Business Process controls, SOC 2 and SOC 2+ testing and reporting - for various trust principles including HITRUST engagements.
  • Cloud Security: Moderate understanding in Cloud Security Audit in leading Cloud Services Providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Education: Any Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
