About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead resiliency-focused testing for our enterprise applications and infrastructure.
  • This individual will design and implement comprehensive test strategies, developing and executing plans that validate system fault tolerance and high availability.
  • The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience with testing tools like Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester, as well as proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Java.
  • A strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement robust testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure.
  2. Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system resilience and performance under various conditions.
  3. Perform stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Analyze test results, providing actionable insights and risk assessments to inform technology decisions.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that enhance system reliability and stability.

Required Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python, Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
