Job Description

FICCI seeks a Senior Assistant Director/Deputy Director in its Resource Conservation Management department.

The RCM department conducts consultancy projects in energy and water management, environment, safety, and other areas requiring field studies, data collection, analysis, and recommendations to industries in detailed reports.

Required Background:

M.Tech Energy/Environment/Water with first-class honors or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Agri Technology from reputable universities.

Preferably certified as an Energy Auditor/Manager.

Experience Needed:

  • 10 years of experience in executing/managing energy efficiency, water management projects, conducting detailed energy/water audits, and techno-commercial feasibility studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field measurement and monitoring
  • Data collection and completing site work according to scope
  • Compiling and analyzing data
  • Preparing graphs, charts, and schematic diagrams
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations and technical proposals for various projects
  • Assisting the team leader in preparing reports
  • Organizing workshops, conferences, and training sessions
  • Traveling nationwide and abroad for project locations and requirements
  • Preferred experience in sustainability reporting, carbon markets, circular economy, electrical vehicles, hydrogen energy, and new emerging sectors
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Skilled in preparing and submitting reports to client satisfaction, including savings potential and techno-economic calculations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Good understanding of industrial electrical and thermal utilities
  • Experienced in data analysis using software and handling auditing instruments
  • Professional with 10 years of experience in energy efficiency, water management, productivity improvement, waste minimization, clean energy, resource mapping, and ISO 50001
  • Specific expertise in industrial energy efficiency, especially large industries, MSME sector, commercial buildings, and demand-side management
