Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately predicting and preparing detailed cost estimates for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy, as well as proficiency in working with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and related software. Familiarity with cost estimation software is an added advantage.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents provided by clients and consultants.
  • Identify project requirements, including materials, equipment, labor, and resources necessary for cost estimation.
  • Familiarize yourself with applicable international codes and standards.
  • Ensure all cost estimates align with standards to maintain compliance and quality.
  • Use appropriate measurement methods to assess quantities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with at least 2 years of technical delivery experience in a global construction consultancy.
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills.
  • Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute.
  • A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
