About the Role

As a Category Lead EOL EV Vehicle, you will be responsible for managing and establishing new model development within the QA team. You will work closely with plant quality teams, coordinating with central and internal teams on events and ensuring participation of specific internal teams in each event. You will also review infrastructure upgrades and requirements, enhancing testing ability of the testing lab at plant and Gurgaon facility for all EV parts, including traction battery testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting internal and external failures simulation on test track and identification of RCA at vehicle level.
  • Simulation/prepare action plan for improvement and new features testing.
  • Identify improvement projects, EOL testing cycle time improvement, and enhancement.
  • Develop EV exclusive parts and ensure vehicle integrations.
  • Plan, budget, and execute test lab readiness at plant/CRVT lab for EV specific parts, including traction battery.
  • Ensure/improve performance of new product – testing and validation COP.
  • Ensure conformity to production through robust testing mechanisms, EOL upgrade.
  • Oversee product manufacturing process to ensure quality.
  • Plan and lead quality improvement activities and initiatives impacting 'build up quality' and vehicle performance testing.
  • Base model/G4/after market MP/GB issues resolution.
  • Drive DFMEA/PFMEA practice within plant and supplier end.
