About the Role:

This is a key leadership position responsible for driving process improvements and upgradations across various areas, including safety, environment, quality, capacity, and competitiveness.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Operations team in improving plant performance.
  • Lead plant and process upgradation initiatives.
  • Monitor and support new projects.
  • Conduct Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) studies.
  • Participate actively in process safety analyses and related studies.
  • Assist plants in upgrading and installing automation systems.
  • Prepare and review all Management of Change (MOC) proposals.
  • Coordinate with project teams to develop new Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Provide Feed and Basic Engineering support for all projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Research & Development (R&D) and Technical Services teams.
  • Lead feasibility studies, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and basic engineering tasks.
  • Lead scale-up activities from pilot projects to full plant commercialization.
  • Actively participate in Management of Changes (MOC) related to process modifications.

Requirements:

  • Excellent technical skills, particularly in automation and process control.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
