Job Title: UAV Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated UAV Design Engineer to join our team in the field of aerial vehicle design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to the conceptual and detailed design of UAV airframes and sub-systems, utilizing expertise in materials science and aerodynamics.
  • Perform structural analysis and optimization of UAV configurations to ensure stability and efficiency.
  • Design structural components and assemblies using advanced composite and lightweight materials to minimize weight and maximize performance.
  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings to facilitate seamless system integration.
  • Collaborate closely with electronics, propulsion, and software teams to ensure efficient system operation.
  • Conduct structural and thermal analysis to validate design performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in UAV prototyping, assembly, ground testing, and flight trials to refine design capabilities.
  • Document design processes, BOMs, and support regulatory compliance for airworthiness to maintain industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in mathematics and physics.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in UAV or aircraft design, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and structural design principles.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience designing VTOL, hybrid, or long-endurance UAV platforms, with expertise in autonomous systems and AI integration.
  • Familiarity with autopilot systems and avionics integration, with knowledge of sensor fusion and data analytics.
