Job Opportunity: Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description:

A seasoned instrumentation engineer is sought to provide expertise in the design and implementation of control systems for FMCG plants.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing various design deliverables, including design basis, instrumentation and control system specifications, instrument index and I/O list, functional loop schematics, logic diagrams, installation drawings and hookups, instrument location lay outs, cable tray lay outs, control room lay outs, cable and junction box schedule, wiring and interconnection drawings, loop wiring diagram, MTO, construction/erection tender, CAPEX support, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with instrument sizing, control valve sizing, flow meter sizing, safety valve sizing, air and power consumption calculations, thermowell wake frequency calculations, UPS sizing, transformer sizing, cable tray sizing, and cable sizing.
  • Knowledge of instrument selection for all types of field instruments, especially those used in hazardous areas.
  • Experience with wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification.

Others:

Relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG plants and NEC standards are expected to be familiar to the candidate.
