Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

  • Procure core raw materials for production, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Apply technical analysis of price patterns and indicators to negotiate optimal rates with suppliers.
  • Use statistical methods like commodity pricing for financial forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify the best products and suppliers based on value, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
  • Forecast product demand and maintain accurate stock levels through continuous monitoring.
  • Negotiate independently with suppliers on rates, quality, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Control and optimize raw material costs for the company.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly profitability statements with actual overheads for stakeholders and future business development.
  • Settle payments promptly and ensure timely processing of payments to raw material suppliers.
  • Compile weekly financial reports highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate closely with Quality and R&D departments for new developments, considering recipe specifications and cost efficiency.
  • Present weekly reports to stakeholders on cost index technical analysis, stock status, and payment schedules.
