Job Title: Backup Infrastructure Specialist

As a skilled and experienced backup administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's backup infrastructure.

With a strong background in Commvault and Rubrik, you will troubleshoot various types of backup/restore failures, performance-related issues, auxiliary copy, and replication operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and create different types of policies, including storage policy, schedule, retention, archive, and cleanup for backup jobs.
  • Patch and maintain Commvault, Media Agent, and Client servers.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and design documents.
  • Configure and schedule backups for NetApp NAS share NFS & CIFS.
  • Monitor Commvault licenses and prepare weekly and monthly reports for data analysis.
Requirements:
  • Over 8+ years of experience in Commvault.
  • Experience in Commvault V11 in both Java GUI/Admin console.
  • Experience on Commvault 'File system'/Module based (Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Sybase, VMWare, File Agent).
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Working knowledge of Data Domain and Tape libraries.
  • VMWare and NetApp expertise.
