Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing Splunk infrastructure, ensuring efficient deployment and maintenance across various platforms.

This includes setting up and configuring Indexer, Search Head, Deployment Server, Heavy Forwarder and Universal forwarder, as well as standardized Splunk Forwarder Deployments, configurations and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and maintaining production-quality Dashboards.
  • Expertise in Parsing, Indexing, Searching concepts such as Hot, Warm, Cold, Frozen bucketing.
  • Expertise in using commands like regex to extract fields from log files.
  • Actuate Reporting, Development, Deployment, Management and Performance Tuning of Actuate Reports.
  • Monitoring the Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning and optimization & Support Splunk on Linux and Windows-based platforms.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Certifications (good to have): Splunk Certified Power User, Splunk Certified Admin.
  • Exposure towards MongoDb/Docker services.
  • Proficiency in Python and creating and running customized scripts.
  • Worked on data analytics.
