Job Description

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax guidance and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and litigation to minimize risk and maximize financial efficiency.
  • Represent the company before tax authorities and manage various audit issues to ensure a positive outcome.
  • Oversee advance tax payments, tax returns, reports, and necessary paperwork to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure complete tax compliance, particularly for DT and IDT, with a focus on GST, to avoid penalties and fines.
  • Perform GST ITC reconciliation and reversal of non-eligible ITC to optimize financial performance.
  • Coordinate with tax counsel for advisory and opinion to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Prepare facts and cases for professional opinions to support business strategy.
  • Provide assistance to both external and internal stakeholders to foster strong relationships and trust.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of financial matters from a tax perspective to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential to demonstrate expertise in accounting and tax management.

  • 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax management is required to provide depth and breadth of knowledge.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting processes and tax regulations is necessary to navigate complex scenarios.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical skills is required to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain and develop client relationships through regular engagement and exceptional service is crucial.
  • Experience in managing tax compliance, assessments, and litigation is necessary to ensure a proactive approach.
