Sustain & Operations Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sustain and Operations Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our IT systems and integrations. This role involves analyzing incidents, implementing sustainable fixes, coordinating with cross-functional and third-party teams, and driving automation and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong collaboration skills to ensure seamless business operations and alignment of IT services with sector objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operational stability of global IT systems by monitoring, analyzing, and resolving incidents within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to minimize business disruption.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues, propose sustainable fixes, and coordinate implementation with development, infrastructure, and third-party teams.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance system reliability, reduce manual interventions, and increase efficiency in sustainment activities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, integration teams, and vendor partners to align IT service delivery with global priorities and operational needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date system documentation and ensure configuration, change, and release processes are followed in compliance with IT governance.
  • Provide proactive recommendations for system optimization, capacity planning, and forward-looking enhancements to support business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), Java, Production Support, SLA Governance, Reporting & Service Delivery
  • 7+ years of experience in related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
