About the Role

The Process Engineer will provide technical oversight and guidance to project teams, ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet bp's standards and regulations. This includes reviewing and approving design engineering and construction contractor deliverables, contributing to the development of design documents, and working with contractors to specify, tender, select, purchase, install, and commission process equipment.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of process engineering principles and be able to apply them effectively in a fast-paced project environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Provide technical expertise to project teams and ensure that all engineering deliverables meet bp's standards and regulations.
  • Review and approve design engineering and construction contractor deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of design documents, including Statements of Requirements (SOR) and Basis of Design (BOD).
  • Work with contractors to specify, tender, select, purchase, install, and commission process equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas/petrochemical/refining/chemical or equivalent fields. Chartered Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer certification is highly desirable.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering work on capital projects is required, with a strong preference for brownfield project experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas/petrochemical/refining/chemical or equivalent fields.
  • Chartered Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer certification.
