Content Creation Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a talented Content Creation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of published work in tech journalism, digital publishing, or B2B content marketing.

The selected individual will work closely with the editorial, SEO, and marketing teams to ensure all content aligns with business goals, audience intent, and brand voice.

A degree in Journalism, Mass Media, English, Marketing, or a related field is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in content writing, preferably in tech journalism, digital publishing, or B2B content marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write long-form feature articles, thought leadership blogs, and trend-driven content covering topics like AI, IoT, Big Data, FinTech, SaaS, Cybersecurity, and more.
  • Create a variety of content formats including news stories, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, reports, infographics, and marketing collaterals.
  • Conduct in-depth research and interviews with internal stakeholders and industry experts to produce original, high-quality content.
  • Apply SEO best practices, including keyword usage, meta descriptions, and on-page optimization to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Maintain editorial accuracy, consistency, and a high standard of US English grammar, style, and structure across all written material.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to write engaging, long-form content that simplifies complex ideas without losing depth or nuance.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization techniques.
  • Awareness of current technology trends, business models, and digital transformation in the B2B landscape.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CMS platforms like WordPress and familiarity with editorial workflows.
  • Degree in Journalism, Mass Media, English, Marketing, or a related field.

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with project management tools like Trello, Asana, or Basecamp.
  • Experience with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
