About the Role- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced software engineer with a strong background in networking.
- This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and VPN technologies, who has experience working with low-level systems programming in C and/or C++, and has a deep knowledge of the Linux operating system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient networking software using C++.
- Collaborate on components involving the TCP/IP stack, routing protocols, VPN tunnelling, and related features.
- Develop software that runs seamlessly on Linux systems, with close attention to performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and deliver timely fixes, including root cause analysis.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–8 years of hands-on experience in networking software development.
- Strong programming skills in C++.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, VPN technologies.
- Proficiency with Linux OS, including system-level programming, kernel interfaces, and tools.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with tools like GDB, Wireshark, and network performance analysis tools.
