This role involves gaining a comprehensive understanding of the growth dynamics across various categories. The individual will be responsible for ensuring timely product cataloging, managing stock levels and store audits, overseeing both current and new merchant relationships, handling the complete order lifecycle, leading a team of store executives, and tracking key store performance metrics.


This is an on-field role requiring a 6 day shift base with rotational expertise and merchant management responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Category Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of growth trends and dynamics in different sectors like Supermarkets, FMCG, Healthcare, Lifestyle, and others.
  • Making connections between market demand and growth opportunities
  • Merchant Management: Manage existing merchant relationships to ensure they meet operational standards, product availability, and quality.
  • Store Cataloging: Ensure that all products and services are accurately cataloged in the system by organizing them into correct categories, ensuring up-to-date product details, pricing, and availability within required timelines.
  • Stock Management and Audit: Oversee quality checks, stock levels, and conduct audits to ensure there are no discrepancies in stock records.
  • Pricing Strategy: Ensure that product pricing is competitive by maintaining pricing parity with key competitors, monitoring competitor pricing trends, and adjusting pricing accordingly to remain attractive to customers.
  • Order and Fulfillment Management / Order Lifecycle: Oversee the entire order process from order creation to fulfillment and delivery, including ensuring orders are accepted and packed as per defined TATs, managing any issues that arise during the order process, and ensuring ground-level resolution based on tickets raised by customers.
  • Team Leadership and Performance Monitoring:
    • Leading and managing a team of store executives, providing guidance, setting expectations, and maintaining communication within the team.
    • Monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs), which could include sales performance, inventory turnover, merchant performance, or customer satisfaction.
