The Inventory Optimization Specialist plays a vital role in driving business growth by minimizing inventory write-offs and optimizing overall inventory. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to work closely with stakeholders, identify areas of improvement, and implement effective solutions.

  • Monitor slow-moving and near-expiry inventory across India and develop liquidation plans to minimize write-offs.">
  • Coordinate with planning clusters to align slow-moving inventory targets and prepare MIS reports for actual vs target comparisons.">
  • Participate in periodic inventory performance reviews and ensure timely updates in SAP.">
  • Evaluate purchase requisitions based on business demand, stock levels, and open purchase orders.">
  • Validate data sources for purchase requisitions raised for strategic buys and supply disruptions.">
  • Continuously evaluate existing processes, propose simplifications, and drive automation initiatives.">
  • Act as a finance partner for IT and SCM automation projects, ensuring proper financial controls are in place.">
  • Monitor COPE (Cost of Poor Execution) and discuss reduction strategies with CFT (Central Finance Team).">
  • Prepare MIS reports to track export freight and monitor Air Sea Mix for cost optimization.">
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to overcome high-volume disposal transactions and prioritize high-value items.">
