Senior Production Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically oversee daily operations to optimize efficiency and yield in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex technical issues related to electrode coating, cell assembly, and sealing processes.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance cell performance, lifespan, and overall production quality.
  • Continuously analyze data from production lines to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Establish and enforce strict quality control measures throughout the production process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and specifications for solid-state batteries.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to teams responsible for cell assembly.
  • Offer training opportunities on new technologies and procedures related to solid-state battery production.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of solid-state battery technology, including principles of solid electrolytes, electrode materials, and cell assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques such as roll-to-roll processing, laser cutting, and precision handling equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in lithium-ion battery manufacturing with a focus on cell assembly processes.
  • Proven track record in managing production teams within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments.
