Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in cloud-based data services, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and insightful data-intensive solutions.

The role requires a deep understanding of data engineering, strong SQL skills, and extensive experience with various cloud services like data pipelines, data processing, and data storage.

You will play a crucial role in building scalable cloud data infrastructure and overseeing the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing data applications on the cloud
  • Overseeing the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of applications
  • Building scalable cloud data infrastructure
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of overall IT experience, with 2-3 years of hands-on experience designing and developing data applications on the cloud
  • Deep expertise in cloud platform services and architectures
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in an Agile development methodology

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other cloud providers, demonstrating a broad understanding of data engineering
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for data manipulation and automation
