About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our incubation program and drive growth through strategic leadership, innovation, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Vision & Roadmap:
    • Develop a comprehensive roadmap aligned with our objectives and ensure alignment with government policies, startup ecosystem goals, and institutional/academic objectives.
    • Define sector-specific focus areas and mobilize resources through partnerships, grants, and international agencies.
  • Program Development & Management:
    • Design and execute incubation, acceleration, and pre-incubation programs that build a pipeline of high-potential startups and entrepreneurs.
    • Provide mentoring, capacity-building workshops, and networking opportunities to establish measurable KPIs for startups.
  • Financial Sustainability & Fundraising:
    • Ensure cost-effective operations and financial sustainability while adhering to Section 8 restrictions.
    • Develop revenue streams that promote long-term resilience and continuity.
  • Ecosystem Development & Partnerships:
    • Forge collaborations with corporates, investors, academic institutions, and government bodies to establish MoUs with ecosystem enablers.
    • Build international linkages for global exposure of incubated startups and promote them through media, events, and demo days.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    • Ensure statutory compliance under Section 8 of Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws.
    • Maintain transparency, accountability, and governance best practices through regular reporting to the Board of Directors/Advisory Council.
  • Monitoring & Impact Assessment:
    • Track performance metrics of incubated startups and publish annual reports highlighting impact in terms of employment, innovation, and social contribution.
    • Drive outcome-based evaluations for continuous improvement and contribute to national priorities.
  • Innovation & Technology Enablement:
    • Establish labs, prototyping facilities, co-working infrastructure that encourage adoption of emerging technologies.
    • Facilitate IP creation and technology transfer that promotes long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • MBA
  • 10+ years' experience in business-related field
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
