Frontend Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Frontend Developer to play a key role in the development of our product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Next.js and be able to build responsive and performant user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development & Technical Excellence: Develop reusable components and front-end libraries that scale with our growing product, translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code, integrate frontend components seamlessly with REST APIs, ensure application performance, scalability, and security meet standards, write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
  • Ownership & Leadership: Take full ownership of assigned features from conception to deployment, proactively identify and solve technical challenges before they impact the team, lead by example in code quality, documentation, and best practices, mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing, drive technical decisions for frontend architecture and tooling choices.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, contribute to sprint planning and project estimation with accurate timelines.

Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years of professional frontend development experience with demonstrable Next.js expertise, strong proficiency with React.js fundamentals and modern JavaScript (ES6+), experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.), solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles, hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs and data fetching patterns, proficiency with version control using Git and collaborative development workflows, experience with frontend build tools and modern development workflows.

Bonus Experience:

  • Exposure to design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for design-to-code workflow, basic understanding of backend technologies or full-stack development, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, previous startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset, contributing to open-source projects or maintaining personal projects, experience with deployment pipelines and DevOps practices.
