Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a full stack engineer.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on Azure Databricks using Scala, PySpark and possess strong knowledge of the Azure Cloud platform.

Azure DevOps and Terraform expertise is also highly valued in this role.

Responsibilities will include designing and developing reusable software modules, assisting in defining product technical architecture and participating in peer reviews for designs, code and other work products.

  • Design and develop scalable software solutions that meet customer requirements while maintaining high standards of reliability, security, maintainability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement software quality assurance processes including all types of testing.
  • Maintain and document deliverables in a shared platform.

In addition to the above responsibilities, we expect the successful candidate to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of database management systems and proficiency in SQL.

The selected candidate will have 4 or more years of experience working on Azure Databricks using Scala, PySpark, 4 or more years of experience on Azure Cloud platform, 4 or more years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience, Knowledge about Azure DevOps and Terraform, 3 or more years of experience with DB/SQL, 4 or more years of experience with Scala or Python.
