Senior Voice Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Voice Network Engineer to support our clients with Cisco UCCE, CUCM and Release Management solutions.

  • Familiarity with Cisco UCCE / UCCX / PCCE solutions & 3rd party Call recording platforms is essential.
  • Briefly familiar with basic Cisco ICM/CCMP/CVP/CUIC & troubleshooting concepts.
  • Clear understanding of MACD creation in Cisco UCCE & IPT platforms is necessary.
  • VOIP protocols like SIP, H.323 and MGCP should be well understood, as well as ITIL processes.
  • Cisco Voice network deployment models and voice network devices functioning should be comprehended.
  • Knowledge of VOIP and Performance Management Tools, along with integration experience with other tools, is required.
  • Understanding of Telecom infrastructure protocols like ISDN and analogy signalling is also expected.
  • This role requires a readiness to work in a 24/7 business support environment.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Voice platform and experience on CUCM/UCCE/UCCH/CVP platforms is desired.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills are essential for this position.
  • Ability to work & Coordinate with Third Party Providers to assist in Problem resolution of telecommunication Problems & OEMs for incident resolution is crucial.
  • Advanced remote/on site troubleshooting activities encompassing system design issues, upgrade plans, creation of technical product documentation, up gradation & site coordination are responsibilities of this role.
  • Acting as a point of contact for all service delivery issues/ pending work/ escalations is another key responsibility.
  • Providing team support and process improvements through individual contributions is expected from the successful candidate.
  • Maintaining and updating Knowledge Base and documentation & Initiating and implementing processes improvements are also responsibilities of this role.
  • Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written), Strong analytical and problem solving skills are must have qualities for this job.

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in Cisco UC, UCCE, Voice gateway, call management, Webex, CVP, VMware, patch management, release management.
