Calibration Engineer Position Overview:

The Calibration Engineer role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive calibration program for all measurement and test equipment used in the Nashik facility. The goal is to ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a thorough calibration program for all M&TE used in the Nashik facility, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and internal protocols

  • Perform in-house calibration of various instruments and equipment, including but not limited to pressure gauges, temperature sensors, electrical testers, dimensional measuring tools, and analytical instruments

  • Coordinate with external calibration laboratories for equipment that cannot be calibrated in-house, ensuring timely scheduling, proper handling, and review of calibration certificates

  • Maintain and manage calibration standards, ensuring their traceability to national or international standards and adherence to proper handling and storage procedures

  • Develop and document calibration procedures for various types of M&TE, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to best practices

  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on M&TE. Coordinate repairs with internal maintenance or external service providers as needed

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records, including calibration certificates, history files, and recall schedules, using both manual and electronic systems

  • Investigate out-of-tolerance conditions identified during calibration, determine the potential impact on product quality, and recommend appropriate corrective actions

  • Provide training to relevant personnel on the proper use, handling, and care of M&TE, utilizing local language where appropriate

  • Participate in internal and external audits related to the calibration program, providing necessary documentation and explanations

Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 Years experience in calibration engineering or a related field
