Logistics Requirements Overview

As a Traffic Analyst at Flowserve, you will oversee the fulfillment of logistics requirements for a multi-site area within the region. The role involves the deployment and execution of site-specific logistics strategies to maximize Flowserve's logistics capabilities and enhance the customer order-to-delivery experience.

• Manage finished goods inventory and secured storage area to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the planning team, contract management, and logistics providers to prepare and execute monthly dispatch plans.
• Generate billable delivery notes and arrange invoices and other statutory documents for physical dispatch.
• Provide packing cases and consumable requirements against weekly dispatch plans.
• Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy, interacting with project management, planners, and customers to meet requirements.
• SUPERVISION OF DOMESTIC & EXPORT PACKING PROCESS INCLUDING QUANTITY & QUALITY OF GOODS PACKED.
• Identify vehicle requirements, including container sizing, for physical dispatch.
• Interact with transporters for out-bound finished goods movement with proper documents.
• Maintain necessary records and present during audits like IMS, API, ISO, etc.
• Identify areas of improvement, establish innovative work procedures, and good practices, cost reduction exercises.
• Lead a team of packers with safe work culture, training them periodically.

Requirements

• Experience in transport logistics or order processing in a globally active company.
• Solid knowledge and proficiency using Incoterms and customs regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Project management and implementation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Client-focused and outgoing.
• Proven demonstration of creating strong cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to analyze and create meaningful and concise critical data reports.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities accordingly.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment.

• Familiarity with ERP applications such as SAP.

• BCom/BBA/MCom degree in a relevant field and 10-11 years of relevant experience.
