Staff Software Engineer Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our engineering team as a Staff Software Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to leverage their technical skills and experience to drive business results.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned software engineer with a passion for designing, developing, and deploying software applications that support our business operations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are delivered on-time and meet quality standards.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and developing software applications using Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Working with third-party commercial software providers to assess, integrate, and manage their products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are delivered on-time and meet quality standards.
  • Developing and deploying APIs, services, and infrastructure to support large-scale initiatives in AWS or GCP ecosystems.
Requirements
  • Experience coding in Java, Kotlin, or other languages.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, node.js, angular, react, etc.
  • Experience implementing highly available, reliable, and secure APIs, services, and infrastructure.
  • Experience deploying to cloud-based infrastructure resources.
  • Experience working with container technologies and runtimes.
  • Experience with different architectures (MVC, microservices, async/event-based, task-based, workflow-based, ETLs, data pipelines).
  • Passion for coaching and engaging engineers of all levels.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles (OOP/Func Paradigms, TDD, DDD, SoC, MicroServices, Caching Strategies).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/CircleCI/XLR/Git/GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with broad and deep architecture standards for server/virtualization, LAN/WAN/Converged network, database, end user computing and infrastructure applications.
