**Job Description**

As a Senior Associate, you will have key responsibilities in the valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for financial reporting purposes. This includes:

\

  • Valuing businesses, business interests, and intangible assets under various accounting standards such as ASC 350, ASC 360, ASC 718/409A, ASC 820 and ASC 805.
  • Analyzing historical financial and operating results of target companies to identify business trends and risks.
  • Challenging assumptions related to future financial projections.
  • Developing discount rates (WACC, IRR, WARA, etc.)
  • Performing financial statement analysis (common size analysis, ratio analysis, trend analysis, industry comparative analysis).
  • Conducting market/industry research and developing industry growth estimates.
  • Constructing and reviewing valuation and other financial models.
  • Assisting with the design and preparation of valuation reports and client deliverables.
  • Presenting analyses and conclusions to internal management and external clients.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory and methodologies, including traditional valuation methods.
  • Experience in building, analyzing, and reviewing financial models for high-level decision-making.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases and tools such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg.
  • Track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects and delivering under tight deadlines.
