Job Description

This is a critical role within our organization, responsible for leading the smooth execution of tax operations for group entities.

The key responsibilities of this position involve managing direct and indirect tax compliance, audits, assessments, litigation management, and ensuring adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payments of TDS, Advance Income Tax & Security Transaction Tax (STT) including verification of reports prepared by the team and authorization of payments, collation of financial data to ensure accuracy and timely statutory compliance.
  • Validate TDS, Service Tax & STT returns for filing, ensure accuracy of statutory certificates, prepare and coordinate STT return filings as per regulations.
  • Prepare income computation reports and liaise with auditors/consultants, address queries from auditors and tax authorities, support scrutiny cases and attend hearings where required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Essential: CA/MBA (Finance) with 8–12 years of relevant experience.
  • Desired: LLB or additional qualifications in Capital Markets.

Strong knowledge of taxation laws and accounting standards is essential, along with proven experience in financial services with Capital Market exposure. Leadership skills to build and manage high-performing teams are also necessary, as well as a process-driven problem-solving mindset with an execution focus. Additionally, the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvements is required.
