Design Engineer Role

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring product manufacturability through various analysis and report generation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform DFM analysis in PCBA and fabrication analysis in PCB to identify potential issues and improve designs.
  • Analyze testability and generate DFT reports to ensure efficient testing processes.
  • Create DFA reports detailing assembly process simulations and optimize designs accordingly.
  • Develop and implement DFx procedures and checklists based on customer requirements.
  • Generate DFx reports summarizing findings and observations, adhering to industry standards.
Collaboration and Mentorship
  • Work closely with customers and internal manufacturing teams to define DFx requirements and rules.
  • Mentor junior team members, guiding them towards effective deliverables and sharing knowledge on relevant software and tools.
  • Train new and existing team members on an ongoing basis, focusing on relevant skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4-7 years' experience in DFx methodologies, PCBA DFM process, DFT, and DFA analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent analytical, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
