Job Title: IT Procurement Manager">

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Procurement Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and contractual aspects within the IT spend category.

This is a challenging role that requires excellent negotiation and influencing skills, as well as experience with electronic procurement tools and end-to-end source/procure-to-pay processes.

  • Manage end-to-end commercial and procurement aspects within all IT categories like Hardware, Software, Outsourcing Services, Cloud and SAAS.
  • Ensure proper spend categorization.
  • Lead and execute strategic projects, apply sourcing approaches depending on scope & business requirements, draft detailed statement of work covering performance measures-KPIs/metrics, SLAs, acceptance criteria, commercials, risk/reward provisions etc.
  • Establish relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Advise internal partners on procurement process, policies, templates, RACI, deal risks, and possible mitigation steps as part of the procurement process or contracting.
  • Ensure full Procure-to-Contract compliance with all applicable sourcing processes, policies, etc.
  • Execute RFP / RFQ processes for assigned categories including Contract negotiation, Vendor Selection, Contract Awarding.
  • Define plans in line with category strategy, decision trees, play book. Leverage appropriate procurement/sourcing tools.
  • Consolidate supplier base and pursue alternative sources ensuring uninterrupted supply of services delivered in a cost-effective and quality manner.
  • Conduct market research for assigned category, incl. monitoring trends and supply/demand factors, legal dictates to inform decision-making.
  • Establish communications with key internal partners, ensure agreement and adoption of category strategies, ongoing review of activities undertaken and maintenance of strong client service.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
  • Significant experience of procurement/sourcing and contracting for Cloud Services.
  • Understanding of how to analyze a category cost structure.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience or good understanding of electronic procurement tools (Ariba, Ivalua, PeopleSoft, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Source/Procure-to-Pay processes and tools.
  • Ability to extract procurement requirements from internal stakeholders, and translate business requirements into contract language.
