Job Title: Business Development Manager
We are seeking a business development manager to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and improve market share in South India.

About the Job

The role requires a strong understanding of the FMCG industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Growth
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in South India.
    • Drive volume, value, and profitability for the assigned region.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's footprint.
  • Channel & Distribution Management
    • Strengthen distributor networks, stockists, and retail partnerships.
    • Optimize supply chain efficiencies and ensure market availability.
    • Develop and implement trade marketing initiatives.
  • Key Account Management
    • Build strong relationships with modern trade, e-commerce, and key institutional clients.
    • Negotiate and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with major retailers.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team across multiple locations.
    • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure continuous skill development.
  • Market Intelligence & Competition Analysis
    • Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer trends.
    • Provide insights to the marketing team for strategic decision-making.
  • Financial & P&L Management
    • Drive profitability and optimize costs across sales, trade promotions, and logistics.
    • Ensure efficient budgeting and financial planning for the region.
