We are seeking a skilled Visual Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of design principles and be able to apply them across various projects.

The role involves turning ideas into clear, intentional, and visually appealing designs that communicate the brand's message effectively. Every element in the design should serve a purpose and contribute to the overall story.

To succeed in this position, you will need to:

  • Develop innovative visual solutions that meet the client's needs.
  • Create and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all outputs.
  • Design motion graphics, short videos, and micro-interactions using industry-standard tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro.
  • Utilize AI as an assistant to enhance your workflow and create high-quality content efficiently.
  • Build reusable templates and assets that can be used by other teams independently.
  • Design for various formats, including events, print, and digital media.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, social media, advertising, and collateral materials.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers on visual elements, mockups, and user interface design.
  • Develop case studies that showcase product and engineering work through compelling visuals.
  • Employ GenAI as a tool to augment your skills and speed up the creative process without compromising quality.
  • Ask the right questions to understand the project's context, audience, and business goals.
  • Design with intent, ensuring every output is worth the effort invested.

Key qualifications and soft skills include:

  • A deep understanding of design fundamentals: typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Illustrator, or similar software that enables idea generation and visualization.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing versatility across brands, products, and motion design is a plus. Effective storytelling is essential.
  • The ability to transform vague briefs or abstract ideas into tangible, usable designs.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles is beneficial but not mandatory; we'll work together to develop these skills.
  • Experience creating short-form content quickly and intentionally, with agility being a key factor.
  • Ability to ask insightful questions, challenge ambiguous input, and design with context in mind.
  • Care about the people you're designing for, not just the design itself.
  • Open to feedback and value the culture and brand you're working with.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across disciplines.
