Electrical Design Specialist

  •     Contribute to the execution of electrical designs at solar project sites in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana.

  •     Utilize expertise in electrical design to ensure compliance with approved designs, drawings, and safety standards.

  •     Collaborate with the Head Office Electrical Design Team for timely project delivery.

  •     Perform site-specific electrical design work, including preparation/modification of drawings as needed.

  •     Participate in interdisciplinary design issues and resolve them in collaboration with civil and mechanical teams.

  •     Support commissioning team with design-related clarifications during energization.

  •     Maintain site-level design records, approvals, and revisions log.

  •     Design and modify electrical work locally in case of ambiguity from the RFC.

  •     Coordinate with local procurement and construction teams for technical and cost optimal solutions.

  •     Communicate technical issues at site for smooth and timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and understand electrical drawings issued by HO.

  2. Prepare or update site-specific electrical designs/drawings.

  3. Perform basic electrical design calculations.

  4. Ensure site execution complies with approved drawings, standards, and codes.

  5. Provide design clarifications/modifications to site team and get necessary approvals from HO.

  6. Issue red-marked drawings/as-built drawings after execution.

  7. Conduct field surveys to verify cable lengths, trench routes, and equipment locations before execution.

  8. Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams to resolve interdisciplinary design issues.

  9. Support the commissioning team with design-related clarifications during energization.

  10. Maintain site-level design records, approvals, and revisions log.

  11. Design & modify electrical work locally in case of ambiguity from the RFC.

  12. Revise layout, cable schedule & connections locally.

  13. Work alongside local procurement & construction team for technical & cost optimal solutions which needs to be implemented at site.

  14. Work with HO engineering team to communicate technical issues at site for smooth & timely resolution.
