Debugging Expert for Data Center Server Management

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation manageability and debug solutions on AMD platforms for datacenters.

As a member of our innovative engineering team, you will work on bleeding-edge SoC architecture and technology, participating in the development of emulation infrastructure to enable pre-silicon activities and ensure high-quality silicon and fast time-to-market.

You will collaborate with our team to support the deployment of AMD's EPYC products targeting supercomputers and data center workloads.

  • Write high-quality code with attention to detail.
  • Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub), and profilers is a plus.
  • Implement optimized software by leveraging what the platform exposes.
  • Evaluate and test competitive products.
  • Explore new frameworks and tools and provide comprehensive reports.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of computer software architecture and boot flow.
  • Experience with platform management HW and SW components.
  • Skill in sideband/out-of-band server management.
  • Familiarity with DMTF specifications.
  • Experience with Yocto and Bitbake, distros such as OpenBMC.
  • Triage failures with design, verification, firmware, software, and emulation teams.
  • Debug operating system internals.
  • Systems management experience.
  • Develop software libraries and tools for open-source frameworks.
  • Scripting skills in Python and shell.
  • Languages C and C++.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
