Job Title: Azure Databricks Engineer

We seek a skilled data engineer with experience in ingesting and processing large datasets to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work on designing, developing, and optimizing complex data pipelines using Databricks.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our data by implementing efficient data ingestion strategies and resolving any pipeline issues that arise. Your expertise in data lake architectures, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools will help us deliver high-quality data insights to our clients.

To succeed in this position, you must have a strong background in Python, Scala, or SQL, as well as hands-on experience with containerized applications and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline data ingestion workflows, troubleshooting performance issues, and continuously improving our data management processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data ingestion pipelines for integrating multiple sources into Databricks.
  • Implement and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the ingestion process.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and other stakeholders to optimize data ingestion strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize ingestion pipelines for performance and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data ingestion and pipeline development.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with Databricks, Spark, and data lake architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or SQL for data processing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, etc.).
  • Background in streaming data ingestion (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
