**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Clinical Pathology Lab Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in planning and executing blood collection from various laboratory animals, monitoring anesthesia/euthanasia of laboratory animals, and conducting necropsy examinations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective plans for blood collection from laboratory animals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of animal health, anesthesia/euthanasia, and necropsy examinations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control checks for in-house biochemical analysis.
  • Analyze and interpret histopathological slide data, preparing comprehensive reports on toxicity and efficacy studies.
  • Monitor and maintain high-standard quality control checks for in-house biochemical analysis, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and execute calibration schedules for pathology-related equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement and maintain SOPs related to pathology areas, promoting standardization and consistency.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Pathology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-clinical pathology, with a strong background in laboratory animal care and handling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
