Senior Clinical Data Specialist - Python Programming

The role of the Senior Clinical Data Specialist is to provide comprehensive clinical data expertise as part of a team to develop and maintain Laboratory Data Management tasks for studies awarded to a leading contract research organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and expertise in clinical data management, including the development and maintenance of Laboratory Data Management tasks.
• Provide input for Python programming activities pertaining to ongoing study requirements or ad-hoc projects in the department.
• Create and review all appropriate data management documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with the LDM team and serve as back-up for other Data Team Leads.
• Interact with internal and external team members to negotiate timelines and responsibilities, ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Train and mentor junior staff in DM expertise, promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building within the team.
• Ensure service and quality meet agreed-upon timelines and deliverables in data transmission agreements, driving operational excellence.
• Record all evidence of the data transmission process from data file definition to closure of study, maintaining transparency and accountability.
• Ensure that all specification and design documentation are filed and stored according to company policy, adhering to industry standards.
• Address and resolve customer queries effectively, providing timely and accurate responses to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Manage project delivery through full data management study life-cycle, from setup to lock, ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Support the identification and resolution of service level issues and proactive development of contingency plans to mitigate laboratory risk, driving business continuity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with experience in Software Configuration and Validation.
