Job Title: Electrical Engineering Professional

Orbit & Skyline is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong electronics/electrical knowledge to join its engineering team.

This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating electrical products and systems by designing testing methods, working on obsolescence activities, and generating design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic engineering with 3-5 years of experience or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience. Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities with to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with the documentation
  • End-to-end ownership: Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team comprising mechanical, software, system and process engineering (in different geographies) to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic with experience of 3-5 years.
  • Master's degree is preferred with 1 year of experience.
  • Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Must have a good understanding of the electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
  • Must be able to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking.
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to have:
  • Exposure to working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system.
  • Experience in working on electronic components obsolescence
  • Understanding on PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience of testing electronics components- bench-level test and system-level test
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
