Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Process Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing instrumentation systems, as well as providing technical expertise in the field of process instrumentation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Instrumentation Design: Design and implement instrumentation systems that meet industry standards and best practices.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams on process instrumentation-related matters.
  • Sizing and Selection: Conduct sizing and selection calculations for instruments, including flow meters, control valves, and safety valves.
  • Cable Tray and Wiring Schemes: Design and implement cable tray and wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware.

Requirements
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience with instrument design calculations, including Inst. Sizing, Control Valve Sizing, Flow meter sizing, Safety valve sizing, Air and power consumption calculations, Thermowell Wake freq. calculations, UPS Sizing, Transformer sizing, Cable tray sizing, and cable sizing.
  • Familiarity with Codes and Standards: Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG plants and NEC standards.
  • Knowledge of Wiring Schemes: Knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification.
  • Instrument Selection: Experience with instrument selection, including all types of field instruments, particularly those used in hazardous areas.
