Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented software quality assurance professional to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with developers to understand application features and design appropriate test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in quality assurance and testing practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of manual and automated testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with web and mobile application testing, including browser compatibility and responsive design.
- Solid understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ability to write SQL queries for testing purposes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent analytical abilities.
- Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
